For the holiday season, Nordstan wanted to feel like more than a shopping center – a place to linger, explore, and enjoy Christmas. Its location in the heart of the city, combined with a touch of Gothenburg humor, gave us an opportunity no other shopping center could claim.
Nordpolen – The Centre
of Christmas
We turned Nordstan into Nordpolen for the holiday season. The signage was swapped out, and even the wording in the logo was updated — all without losing the brand’s recognizability. It was a simple pun, but one that resonated immediately and gave the center a festive personality.
Since then, Nordpolen has become a holiday tradition, with the sign returning every year to mark the start of Christmas in the heart of Gothenburg.
